Is this true? If you went to an interchange and saw a B59 and a K360UA both about to depart on a service, you'd get on the Scania?Lt. Commander Data wrote:

Re: Post your 5 Favorite Buses
Thought I'd dig this up instead of starting a duplicate. Nonetheless, whilst this thread is related to bus chassis types, are there any individual vehicles that stand out to anyone here? Would be interesting to hear if there is.
Anyhow, my list out of the ones I've been on in the last a few years
Mercedes Benz O305G (R)565 - Several issues, but mainly what seemed to be it's decrepit motor
Scania L94UB 2558 - Had a diff issue in 2012 which caused it to make a strange but unique sound. The rest? Too long to explain lol
Scania L94UB 2547 - In my opinion, the Voith transmissions suit these well, whilst the ZFs make them sound a tad gutless, but this one sounds beautiful.
MAN SL202 422 - Unique engine + retarder sound, one of 5 ZF diesel ones delivered new to Adelaide in 1992
MAN NL202 262 - Most unique sounding NL series MAN in service IMHO

Regarding in service vehicles only - current 5 faves,
MAN SL202 894 (unique acceleration sound, sounds like a 2007 built CC L94UB at 70-80 in 5th)
MAN SL202 1640 (very unique revs when it gets right up to 60)
MAN SL202 422 (mentioned before)
MAN SL202 859 (sounds good in fifth gear)
Scania L94UB 2558 (mentioned before)

Yep, I'm dragging up this thread again
Current favourites vehicles are:
1. 3269
2. 3310
3. 3311
4. 3270
5. 3215
That the hills anyway. Wouldn't say no to a ride of 443 or 542 on the O-Bahn though. Would also be nice to ride on 421-427 sometime before they are removed as well.
Obviously I'm talking about in-service AdMet buses as well, otherwise 1545 and 12xx B59s would be there as well. Possibly a few single-door B58s as well.

My current favourite buses from the Admet fleet are:

- Scania K280UB Custom Coaches 'CB80'
- Scania K360UA Custom Coaches 'CB80'
- Scania L94UB Custom Coaches 'CB60A'
And if I had to choose other than in service buses, then it would have to be the 0305's and 0305G's!

897 had a weird issue when I last caught it, in case anyone is wondering why I only listed 885 instead of putting the two together.
