Searching for numbers
Is there a reason why numbers cannot be searched? It would be useful if I can search for numbers such as bus route numbers?

Re: Searching for numbers
Because the search needs four or more letters, numbers, other characters. I don't think even using an asterisk after a route number works.

Re: Searching for numbers
We have a couple of times tried to reduce the number of characters in a search to a minimum of 3 but it has caused database problems which we have not been able to resolve.
It has nothing to with whether it is numbers only in the search.

Re: Searching for numbers
I tried it a three digit number with an asterisk, & it seems to work. May not work for all, but just put an asterisk after the third letter/number.

Re: Searching for numbers
But that is not the whole story.
I just tried a search for 440* and it brought up up anything starting with 440 but had to be at least four characters in length so it did NOT display any posts which just contained 440 .
