The new logo - Thoughts?

Bus Australia doesn't like to show favouritism, so we have the replaced the long standing Mobitec flip-dot desto with a Hanover LED one.

Definitely like the Hanover one. It's good to change it every now and then. Who knows, maybe next year put a Southport one up?

To be honest I like the yellow one, because most buses have yellow digital mobitec destos, but it is a good change to the orange hanover. It would be better in the yellow/green though..

Ummm no, not necessarily. It depends on which state you live in, and which bus operator you happen to see.

Mobitec is certainly not the most common in states like Victoria and South Australia, however it does seem to be becoming increasingly common.

It was an oversight. Now fixed.

I didn't think the change would generate this much interest! If anyone is creative and wants to post some scrolling destos etc to the .gif file, go ahead and if they are excellent I'll consider them. We will be doing the seasons greetings desto comp again this year so stay tuned for that.

If that's the case, then it should be gif that says "Bus Australia" scrolling between Mobitec, Hanover, Southport etc. fonts

I quite like both, but the old one is easier to see due to the bigger "dots" and the fact that yellow stands out better on black than orange does. But it is good to see change once every while, so I will have no complaints about this one. Next time you change logos you should do an old-style roller from 1950s buses I reckon .

I use an LCD computer screen, so the old yellow one shows up better for me than the new orange one.

In real life, on a bus, the LED destos are easier to read.

Actually, I'm colourblind so I have trouble seeing it depending on the lighting of where I am.

I'm not sure about them fading, but when I go on ATDB from my phone it looks like some of the LED dots don't work
