Holiday today??

Postby boronia » Mon Jun 29, 2009 9:00 pm

I noticed there were no posts on the Board today for almost 12 hours (0700 to 1900). I have been able to access and read the board all day, but didn't try to log on. No one else has commented on this, has there been an ATDB embargo :?:

I tried posting several times and couldn't. I assume everyone else had this problem.

It was a problem with the program that runs the board. I kept getting various Sql errors. I could read posts all day but not reply.
I was even starting to think that "hackers" had got into the system again.

No.

It was a problem with a damaged table in the database. Once our very able system admin repaired this table everything then worked fine.

"the program that runs the board" is the phpBB software and there was nothing wrong with it.
