Aussie model buses on layout
Some buses closer to your neck of the woods closer to my collection! Hope you like them, also, hope Top Gear release some juicy liveries on their Atlantean next.

There was only ever one Sony Atlantean, so you cannot have two together

Love the trifecta of blue P.T.C era buses in the third shot.
Where would you have seen this convergence though? Possibly in Sydney's CBD or maybe in the East, South East or Northern Beaches 1973 -1976.

Very nice bus models. I like them, especially the Sony double.

Re: Aussie model buses on layout
I'm disappointed with the later type rear hub on the mark I.
That was always a defining feature to me growing up. Spoils an otherwise detailed representation of those buses.
One solution may be a liberal coating of black axle gunk which most of them carried in real life!!

No, its not motorised, there was 2 versions released by EFE to the collectors club and was not a general release, I think they were released for some shop in Melbourne??? I am borrowing a book "double deckers in Australia" this week and hope to replicate a Sydney depot from pictures in it, it must seem odd having someone so far away with such an interest in buses from "down under"!!!

After looking more closely, it's not one of the motorised versions such as one of these: https://youtu.be/6MM4nTkEaq0?t=103.
This maybe a better video of these trams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwU7h8QUYFw

Hey there!
I haven't got any of the models you have, but I do have some more modern Aussie Buses. I might post a new topic about them sometime. Nice collection you have there wyth!
