New Ozbus models now arriving!

Postby C130 » Mon Jun 17, 2013 1:49 pm

The next batch of Transit Graphics Ozbus models are beginning to arrive. Seen here is Ozbus 9500A, a Mercedes Benz 0305G on an L90 to Palm Beach. It is #34/100.

I got #25 of 100 - not sure if I should worry or not, but mine has a busted middle axle :( - it wobbles around like it's not connected to anything. I haven't taken it out of the box to see if it's fixable or up the putt.

Received Ozbus 9500A Artic route L90 to Palm Beach number 82 out of 100.
Disappointingly the Perspex case cover has a crack in it.

Photo shows my Artic in front with mates number 81 out of 100 which unfortunately suffered major damage on the trip from Canberra to Rockhampton.

We have both spoken to the great people at Transit Graphics who will rectify our problems.

Thanks to Transit Graphics for your great service but you may need to look at using bubble wrap as well in your packaging.

I suspect my axle failure was during transport as surely it wouldn't have left Transitgraphics like it did - some bubble wrap instead of the packing fluff stuff would probably be better, I agree.

On my oz bus 9200b it seems like one of the poles leaning slighly near the back and my handrail on my oz bus 9400 b the handrail at the front is loose and leaning towards the front of the bus.these buses are so fragile compare to cars workshops Hong Kong buses.

Other then that these are highly detailed and looks just like the 1:1 scale bus.

My 9500A was shipped this afternoon. Judging that they are now not showing on the site, logic dictates that I may have gotten 100/100!

Mine have shipped this afternoon as well.

Decided to order the MKIII but also ordered 9500A when I noticed the message that they only had 3 left. Shall see what number I get.

My MKIII made it to me safe and sound but 9500A suffered 2 significant cracks on the front of the Perspex case. I haven't taken the Perspex lid off the bus as of yet so looks like a call to Transit Graphics will take place on Monday.

EDIT: When removing the model from the outer box I accidentally ripped a bit on the outer box. Will this make me ineligible for an exchange?

Sadly this was the state of how my 0305G arrived. Perpex lid has not been removed.

If that's the case, I'd send it back, at the sellers own expense, and let know, for a replacement, or for it to be fixed, and ask them to make sure it is packaged correctly, such as with bubble wrap. After all, it is the seller's responsibility to make sure it the described and sold as shown.

Unlike others?
If it's the fault of the seller, they are not allowed (not suppose to) not to fix the problem, but yes good that they do take them back. But I wonder how many parcels Australia Post employees just throw parcels in the truck, even the parcels that state "FRAGILE". Nah, surely they would just throw these just in a truck?!

In my case, I'll see if I can just get a replacement case as my model is 100% fine.
