Some People Scared to Mail to Canada

I have just seen several models on ebay that I would like to buy for my collection but the seller doesn't want to mail outside Australia even if I pay the extra postage. I don't get it! Why are people scared to mail a parcel outside the country - I pay the higher postage and the package is tracked to prevent loss in transit. I have received numerous parcels from Transit Graphics, Sydney Bus Museum and individuals with no problem at all. These people should realize that the world is bigger than the coastline surrounding Australia.
