PTC, thanks for the regular updates

Now just wait until the replacements arrive, and you'll have to do this all again. :P

Evening Boronia,
No problem at all.

Will have to do some homework about the permanent fleet and the delivery schedule.

Will be interesting when the originals come on the market as currently besides a very competitive purchase price, very few Munros are selling - described as 'Coasters on steroids'.You can pick up 2011 models as cheap as $75000 on the secondhand market. Not hard to work out why!

I was thinking that myself. Possibly they have some sort of short term lease or buy-back arrangement in place?

None of these have been listed in the new Feb or March deliveries stats published in ABC.

Small buses like Coasters and Rosa aren't listed, so maybe these are regarded as the same class of bus, too small?

Which ones?

There are some photos of the BCI Explorers earlier in this thread.

Plain white Munros aren't very exciting.

Murrays got their money's worth out of those buses. 20 years of front line service.

Bland to drive, but did their job well and reliably.

The decision to buy those vehicles made Murray's the giant they are today. As Boronia said, bland and sometimes painful to drive, but good, well specified and smartly refurbished vehicles.

Evening All,
Have a soft spot for any K93 - beautiful exhaust note if you get one in good knick and with a good exhaust system.

The 112/113s sounded better.

The old Sunliner Hi-Deckers were an aural delight. And a great bus to drive.

The last 3 digits only of the above numbers are the applied fleet numbers.

So just 357, 358, 359

Company cars also get fleet numbers like this, which often explains gaps in the bus lists.

Boronia,
Only the last 3 digits are displayed on vehicles but in the management system,it is displayed (used) as six digits.

Coding example: 158275 is a 1 for Canberra based,58 for 58 seats,275 in series etc.

Some big time reregistrations to come as the current Sydney based 49 seaters cascade to Victoria and Queensland to be replaced by series three BCI's on order whilst loan Higers are rolled back to Higer as the permanent branded ones arrive.
