Reason: Change to Transdev fleet changes instead of Veolia Transpot and Transdev.

That must have happened quite recently as 672 was last spotted operating a Route 913 from Strathfield Station on the 10th.crazy_dan wrote:672 also now at Menai. 101 and 102 now sent to Bankstown in excahange.
It would seem that Menai is progressively getting rid of their Volvos, which started with the B12BLE Bustechs.
By the way, does anyone know what kind of factors are considered when a bus transfer is suggested? Maybe certain bus types are/are not suitable to a certain depot's region?

The B12BLEs left to B I was told by a nightride driver because they have tachographs fitted to them, which are used by Veolia and possibly the RTA to monitor the driving hours of the nightride buses.eddie2190 wrote:It would seem that Menai is progressively getting rid of their Volvos, which started with the B12BLE Bustechs.

Other factors that would influsence vehicle transfers include average fleet age requirements, vehicle kilometre spread (evening out the km amongst the buses), the number of wheelchair accesible vehicles required at each depot and also maintenance/parts inventory at each workshop.

Would it be possible to rename this into a Veolia NSW changes thread and stick to just this one?
*The Veolia Tiger migration to TP looks to be continuing, in the afternoon I sighted (82), which appeared to be on a TP school run. Can anyone else confirm if it is in fact there?
*Furthermore, Scanias (199) and (200) have well and truly gone from TP yet they are still listed. I would assume that they have gone back to V some months ago, as they were only there for maintance.
*Additionally, Scania (223) is actually still in the Yellow front livery, which I sighted also today, just an error with that in the summary.
*Finally, might I suggest that (168) be removed from the list afterall. I have been told it will not be returning to service, after it literally sank up to the windows in what was only thought to be "only a puddle", "she'll be right to get through"... ... Whatever useable parts will be stripped from it as required.

What's the point of swapping the O305s between the two depots??crazy_dan wrote:Here are all the swaps that have occured, not exactly sure as to why...

I think that Taren Point needs some new buses instead of always getting old buses transferred to it. The Volgrens from Menai perhaps??

Well, not exactly. (120) (121) (123) (124) (128) were delivered and spent a bit of time running out of Menai and were moved at a later date to their brothers and sisters at TP.Andrew wrote:This is the first time that the 12x Mercs have left Taren Point since new to Southtrans.
But you are generally correct in saying that.
