Re: Transdev Melbourne News 2018

Read a posting on one of the WA based Facebook groups that Transdev Victoria have picked up a couple of ex Transperth 405NH's for Smartbus, they are 18 year old units and previously operated by PATH Transit (now owned by Keolis Downer). Have any of the Vic based members heard anything? I know a few ...

Wow an Optimus with an AOA finally. :D

I still cannot believe AOA's are being fitted to old 405HH's, which are now in their twilight years and see limited exposure.

Hopefully this heralds the start of a new era and AOA's being fitted to the newer gear in the fleet.

1021 is a 1989/90 model Renault and the mileage would be 1,230,000kms, some others on here are far better placed to answered questions about which ones are 'good and bad' examples.

Re: Should There An Airport Livery Buses To T3/T4?

The 380 is a really interesting service with so much potential and like Mr OC Benz has already mentioned the current buses are at certain times of the day most inadequate, I also heard that the midnight 380's attract some very good loads. I will also be interesting to see if the next 2 deliveries fe...

Re: Should There An Airport Livery Buses To T3/T4?

I saw 2397 travelling along Abernethy Rd doing the 1650 380F, with a standing load and it hadn't even reached the first stop at Gabriel St yet. It's surely only a matter of time before it requires a timetable review and/or additional buses with the possibility of artics. I'm wondering if this will o...

Now that the 22xx series have been completed, will Palmyra, Rockingham and Mandurah get the 26xx series or will all of them go to Joondalup? Yep all the future Transdev rigid deliveries will be number in the 26xx range. Joondalup's current highest bus is 2606 whilst the next one scheduled rigid del...

Plenty of new AOAs this month: 1190 - Joondalup Health Campus 1323 - Tigerair 1324 - Woolworths 1740 - Woolworths 1809 - Carlton Dry 2318 - Summit Homes Possibly more so keep your eyes peeled! :D I still don't get it why they keep installing adverts on O405NH's and not the newer gear.

1257 has been refurbished and when I saw 2440 it looked like it had egg marks on the window probably some dum idiots decided to throw eggs on 2440. I must admit to be rather enthused by the Karrinyup B7's (2426-42), they are absolutely immaculate and spotless. 2481-85 are on-loan to KYP from MV whi...

Wish they'd start putting AOA's on some of the newer gear like the B7's....dependant on the depot a new buses is gonna get far more exposure than a bus in semi-retirement.

B51 definitely wore the incorrect plates for a period of time, think there was one digit difference or the last two digits were inverted.

Re: AOAs in Perth

AOA's if anything protect the paint underneath the advert.

It would be nice to start seeing some of the adverts transferred over from 405NH's across to newer B7's to ensure maximum exposure.

Also with the opening of Beenyup last week, it's good to see the little 1800 SWB's out again at night, undertaking their intended original intended purpose - bouncing up and down the NSR on feeders. Some interesting comments on here of recent.

Beenyup depot in Craigie opens tomorrow with an exclusive 405NH fleet.

1829 is now back home at Joondalup after coming from Cats last week, 1828 remains at East Perth.
