Re: 15000 photos in photo gallery

thank you for all your efforts in uploading so many photos over such a long time. I enjoyed viewing the gallery every day over many years. Since the last upload nearly 6 months ago I have missed this daily viewing, the Facebook site helps fill the gap! Regards.

Re: finding pic (trideck busses/coaches)

There were 4 tri decks in Centralian Staff (Camping Tours of Australia) livery. They were delivered in 1975. From memory initially 1 went to subcontractor Armstrongs Coaches, 1 to Caseys Coaches and 2 to Clipper Tours. At the time we referred to them as triple deckers. They were the pride of the fle...

I, too, would buy every Tourmaster model that Trux would offer if the company produced such a model.

Re: "TRAX MODELS INCREASE IN PRICE"

I think it is fantastic that there is a company such a Topgear that makes such great models of Aussie buses, and I buy the Denning Monos and Deckers, and the Flxible Clippers. I never tire of looking at them in the cabinets. I understand the reasons why prices had to increase, but would prefer that ...

Re: Request for photo's-Ansett Pioneer Tourmasters in Qld

Obviously not a Tourmaster but Pioneer Trailways Cairns landcruiser that was bought to compete with smaller low cost operators on the Cape Tribulation day tour market out of Cairns. From memory seated 11 or so pax comfortably and was an easy drive. Photographed in December 1988 somewhere west of Coo...

Attached are photos of two different Tourmasters operated by Trailway Tours (Ansett Trailways) in Ansett Pioneer livery in 1987 on the Darwin - Alice Springs express route. Trailer towed carried freight. The express route met up with a coach from the east coast at Threeways. Photo of coach in yard (...

Re: Request for photo's-Ansett Pioneer Tourmasters in Qld

Following the split of Pioneer Express (bought by Greyhound) and Pioneer Tours (retained by Trailway Tours Pty Ltd) in early 1988, this coach and another identical coach were dispatched to...

Re: What am I

It looks like one of the four triple deckers as they were known delivered in Centralian colors in 1975. This particular coach looks like the one that was operated by Casey's. Kitchen at rear, mid mount engine, jet air conditioning only.

Re: Centralian Safaris.

I worked with Centralian Staff (or Camping Tours of Australia by Centralian Staff as the company was initially known) from 1974 to 1980 both full time and part time.....sounds to me like Ashley is referring to a coach that was one of two owned by M Curtain of Dandenong and was sub contracted permane...
