Re: Introduction of Metrobus Service

Also, here is an idea.. no bus parking in the City, Not everyone wants to go to Circular Qauy and it certainly doesnt need anymore buses with 10 minute layovers. Care to elaborate? I'm not sure what you are getting at. Its pretty simple really.. 90% of eastern/south west services travel Elizabeth o...

Re: Introduction of Metrobus Service

It's simple. It's an additional service meaning it will pick up all of those people who normally get left behind like at Museum Station in the PM peak or Todman Ave in the AM peak. This route 10 is a great idea. Finally.. someone who can see the point, not to mention the same things that occur at A...

Re: Introduction of Metrobus Service

I believe the structure of the Sydney Buses websiter is maintained by the sam people who maintain the 131500 website. But as far as messages are concerned that is a totally different kettle of fish. It is so easy to post a message with a date like next month and then not rememeber when enxt month c...

Re: Introduction of Metrobus Service

I've made a map in Google map for all the stops of route 10. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=116996865363894869429.000458e1d454a55212a1c&t=h&ll=-33.885647,151.152928&spn=0.004329,0.010943&z=17 As I basically went by the description in 131500's timetable, the stops are just r...

Re: Introduction of Metrobus Service

More info was added to the blade stops along Anzac Pde today. A diagram of the route along with basic frequency and fare structures has replaced the general route service map, and new route summary panels have been installed. Is it one of the new blades with the 3 panels on it? and is it one of the...

I think the area should have a BAN on services untill the situation has blown over. stop all buses at Maroubra Junct and let the community solve their own problem. What sort of simplistic, do-nothing approach is that? Do you expect the local residents to take up baseball bats, vigilante-style, to s...

Oh here we go replace everyone with machines  No, but remove the ones who are doing nothing and either redeploy them into a useful role or use the money they are leeching to improve the system. Nobody can explain why a station has two ticket machines AND two ticket sellers all day long at a n...

It's a step towards removal in my eyes And long overdue too IMO. There are many ways to get single person trains operating in Sydney. The loading gauge issue with external mirrors was counteracted in WA by use of digital platform images sent to the cab or each train. Guards do very little and are l...
