Cairns:

Both 2636 and 2645 back out on the road. 3700 and 3701 have not been seen for an extended period of time in Cairns, maybe they have been moved elsewhere or retired? Not sure, if anyone else can confirm?

Kinetic Cairns 2636 was involved in a minor collision yesterday (30/10/2023) morning on an inbound 110. It happened just past Lily Street on Sheridan Street around 7am. Minor damage was sustained to the back left panel and front panel.

Kinetic Cairns bus 2622 has had it's headlights replaced with LEDs. Not sure if this is the first 2nd gen Bustech to have this replacement but they definitely are significantly more brighter than the standard halogen lights.

The Electric buses for Kinetic in Cairns have hit the road and have been out since Monday (12/12/2022) in revenue service. Been assigned to all sorts of day and night shifts.

The new electric buses seem to slowly be appearing on the road in Cairns, however not in revenue service yet. Looks like they're trailing a in-service bus for what I would assume is driver familiarisation. So far I have noted 2695 and 2691 around.

Kinetic Cairns have a new bus in the fleet. Fleet number 2645 and was a Man with what looked like a Global Bus Ventures body. Will try to get more info later unless someone else already knows?

Looks like we're due to see the new electric buses start public service as of tomorrow (September 1) in Cairns. I was talking to a driver the other day and he mentioned there was 5 of the MAN buses here in Cairns. I have seen 926 but yet to see 928 and I would assume the fifth unseen bus might be 925. It should be interesting to see if they stay in Translink colours with Surfside logos or if they get repainte...

Spotted this afternoon on an inbound 133 approx. 5:30pm. As like 929, still in full Translink livery with Surfside decals

I can confirm 929 is out and about in Translink colours and Surfside decals in Cairns. Has been on the road since at least Friday 15/05

585, 587 and 590 have all been transferred to Tweed, unsure of 582 as I haven't seen that bus in a long time. If 582 has been transferred it leaves only 4 non-a/c buses in the Coomera fleet of which they're designated school buses anyway.
