Walter Shapowloff took over from Miller sometime around early November 1943 and it seems that I may have had my dates wrong in the previous (off the top of my head) post .. At least two of the buses you have listed above are contracted to QLD Government school runs in their respect areas - so the likely scenario is they have been brought down for service or repair work.

Stan Biega (Bus Sales Online) has purchased 21 Scania's from the Brisbane City Council for re-sale - and is currently undertaking a diesel engine replacement program.
