Re: New PTV website
And why does it have different timetables for Australia Day and Australia Day Holiday? I much preferred the previous page from which you could select the timetable you wanted. The map takes up too much room on the page. Australia day being Saturday will have the late night/night network times on it...

Apparently there is an N class + SSH set stabled at Bairnsdale presently. Due to the current shutdown, it will be stuck down there until the middle of the next month. Re: PTV: Proposed bus network upgrade for Casey
Removing the express trips on the 894/5 makes sense given I've never seen a single person use them. They would be far better having counter peak trips. Will be a little easier for the 895 given theres going to be a roundabout at Pound Rd/Shrives Rd.

Re: Melbourne Parliament & Flagstaff lifts
From what I can tell the hydraulic lifts at Flagstaff(Concourse/Street Level) and Parliament(Concourse/Street Level) are now machine room less models. I'm still wondering what they will be doing with Narre Warren Railway Station. Will a platform be extended or will they build a new station and grade separate Webb Street. I beg to differ. The traffic in peak predominately in Webb Street is a major issue. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk Indeed. Classic spin from the government and from its agencies. 'Creates x jobs', when it could have created 2x jobs. More importantly, the trains are not high capacity. Nowhere has anyone stated the capacity, but certainly it is nowhere near the 2000 capacity which could have been purchased. Ever since Do...

Re: Privatisation of Sydney Trains/NSW Trains
I would imagine it would be political subside to do so. In Melbourne privatization is seen as a flop. Just look at Metro now. They use just about every loophole they can find so they can avoid paying fines to make a profit.
