Re: How bus revamp will get commuters moving faster.

Having said this, I don't know a lot about Melbourne PT, so I could just as easily speculate in a similar style about a particular place that is a reasonable distance from the CBD. It's a ghost town that's been taken over by gangs. Yes it's quiet (midweek) but the National Rail Museum is great.

Re: Knoll faces Liberal Party revolt on bus cuts

The Public don't like transferring from 1 service to another. ^^This. Something the planners never seem to grasp. I think planners do accept that transferring is an inconvenience. They would generally only favour networks that increase the need to change if there is a higher goal. That higher goal ...

Re: Tonkin GAP MORLEY ELLENBROOK LINE (MEL)

Peak services at only 5 trains per hour. Will this mean that peak buses will be every 12 or 24 min to connect? (hard to remember)

And will this affect other lines? Eg will Midland keep its clockface 6 trains/hour in the peak or will it also drop back to 5?

Re: How bus revamp will get commuters moving faster.

This is the Perth model. I hope they plan and implement it properly and pull it off as successfully as Perth. Sydney and Canberra are also heading down this path. It's also worth noting that while a lot of Perth's travel is based on interchange, there are a handful of instances where this isn't the...
