Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2019

Pinza - any website is only as good as the material submitted to it and what it can safely publish. First off I posted that months ago, secondly I was told as a reply that the administrator was on holiday, thirdly I’m entitled to have whatever opinion I want and lastly I don’t live in Australia but...

Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region

It seems that the Renault arctics being documented ‘locally’ was easier than looking for transfers as most ended up at Mandurah so we’re fairly easy to keep track of right at the end. 722 for example was the last alongside Mandurahs long serving buses. A good example of just dissapearibg was 732.......

Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region

Best and most useful post on here by a mile. Please keep it up guys - transperth transfers are very very hard to keep track of and posts like this for someone who comes and goes to Perth are invaluable

2200 aside there seems to be a bit of regional movement anyway so does anyone know what’s moving or moved?

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2019

Seems a reshuffle in port hedland has occurred not sure what has replaced them but ex fortescue 2204 was seen on a Dampier service in Karratha earlier this week and I’ve just seen 2200 on a 910 in Adelaide terrace!

1719 still around. On a 960 this morning

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2019

Additionally, 1465, 2099, 2100 and 2110 all withdrawn from Bunbury pending transfer to Geraldton[/quote]

Any thoughts on which these will replace? I’d say the 1505-1509s as I think the 11,12-and13xx series buses were refurbished. I may wrong here.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2019

Just read my notes again and I ‘think’ 1375 should’ve been 1725. I’ll check it out again next week.

Has anyone seen 1503 recently?

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2019

I went on an NH mission last month, only just had time to post. These are around a month old. Some looked stored or withdrawn but most still in service. Note 1715. It still had plates on at malaga, less than a month later it’s at the rank in manheims. Doesn’t take them long to process. 1780+6 CNGs w...

Thanks squiddy I I got that information on 1788 secondhand so i assumed he meant 1778 - my bad.

Also I saw 1567 going east on Adelaide terrace yesteday so it’s fair to assume it’s still at Kalamunda.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2018

Went north today on NHs. JOONDALUP: lots of NHs in service here. 1191 and 1803 missing engines and parts, 1732 seems to be a donor as well. 1729 (stored with engine running), 1733,1734,1741 and 1746 all look like they have been used recently. Karrinyup: 1533-1537 all present at the back. (1536 and 1...

PATH NH's still in service: Kalamunda: 1566, 1567?, 1568, 1719, 1720 Welshpool: Nil Malaga: 1715, 1721, 1777, 1779-1796. 1778 suffered a catastrophic failure a week or so ago, so although maybe not technically withdrawn, it won't be returning to service at this stage.
