Re: Bus Observations 2024.
A slight tracking cockup from NextThere on some Volgren CR228L MAN 18.320 HOCL-R-NLs on my route at the moment… (sighted on both TSA 1122 as per the screenshot below, and 1133) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240412/9df48bb6144afe30e78bee367596e4ad.jpg No; there are no buses of this kind at TSA, ...

Looks like boundary lines in footy are nothing more than a decoration or a suggestion these days.

Ahh McUmps. You did it again.
Failed to call out of bounds with two BU’s either side and an easy goal to Saints.
Insipid.

Re: Bus Observations 2024.
Transit Systems haven't assimilated the two parts of region 3 together yet so it's like region 3 is still 2 seperate regions where they have kinda assimilated region 2 by having ex Interline and Busabout buses drivers and shifts running out of Smeaton Grange and Bradbury depots Macquarie Fields onl...

Re: What gives you the ST's!?
So I heard from a recent news bulletin that there’s going to be some sort of yet another road safety study involving TfNSW maybe sometime in March or something, and one of the ideas to be looked at is rolling out point-to-point average speed cameras for cars. Yeah, NO. TfNSW can absolutely p**s righ...

Re: Bus Observations 2024.
There have been recent additions to the CDC NSW Fleet lists by means of those Volgren Optimus B8RLEs. The depot codes on those listings point out that the ones currently being borrowed up north at the moment to assist with their bustitutions are linked with CDC’s Sawtell (Forest Coaches) and Canberr...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
In the context of this discussion, Transit Systems would need to keep region 2 and region 3 vehicles based at the same depot separate, as I believe they operate on different accreditations. Spot on. TSA Region 3 is accredited under “Transit Systems NSW” and TSA Region 2 is under something like “Tra...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
It’s a similar situation as to why the CD Elements that are ultimately bound for Kingsgrove had to face a temporary residence at Smithfield. There’s limited space and there’s only so much that TSA can do with the equipment they have. Hoxton Park has the space and it’s under the same company. Yes, it...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
Depending on the hardware, it sounds like U-Go’s destinations might be suffering from the Hanover (presumably) sign itself physically set onto a different “switch” to the corresponding sign on the programme. This is quite common with inherited fleets from multiple operators. Not difficult to diagno...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
Yes, every operator in SYDNEY does, but not every operator in Australia. Well this is the NSW forums. Sydney is not all of New South Wales. the ex-Punchy Scania CB80s (which all have LED destos) Not all do, some have flipdots. Go outside and check again. I said the ex-PBC Scania CB80s. They all hav...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
Every operator does it but U Go does it so much more than other operators. All of their LED Punchbowl Customs have stuffed destos Yes, every operator in SYDNEY does, but not every operator in Australia. And regarding the ex-Punchy Scania CB80s (which all have LED destos) the design of the CB80 caus...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
I think this has been mentioned before but is there a legal or contractual requirement about destination displays? I saw a U-Go bus the other day and the only number on the front display was “9.” 9 what exactly? Was this a flipdot board? For bus operators that have buses with both flipdot and LED d...

Couldn’t do it either when trying to check on any updates for DVA, but at least the developer is using GitHub at the moment.
Seriously, I just love how even Metro Trains has less disruptions and outages than Railpage.

Re: Bus Observations 2023
It looks like Transit Systems NSW are starting to renumber the region 3 buses that transferred across from their old region 3 Transit Liverpool contract to vehicle rego as B7RLE CB80 1293 m/o 8510 has a documented change to it's fleet number to 8510 according to the fleet lists Mate, it’s just 1293...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
Because at one stage TSA appears to have had two buses with fleet number 1293 - the Mercedes withdrawn in 2020 which is not that long ago and m/o 5739 the Volvo B7RLE which would have been acquired prior to 2020 possibly ex Hopkinsons with region 3, but I cant find that part of its history in the f...

Actually, I can probably see where MotorOmnibus8562 is coming from. Are we missing something or did Transperth pull those 9 bus maps? Because I can’t find them either.

Re: What gives you the ST's!?
Of course it's better than Translink's (QLD) excuse for not having a network map for Brisbane, some 9 months after I sent the feedback, someone finally contacted me saying they don't have a Brisbane network map because "the user experience would be poor with such a large file on a mobile devic...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
I updated it in the Play Store and no fleet numbers are showing when I look up a Busways service, eg: a, 53 to Booker Bay. ‘Vehicle Details’ in the Settings menu (accessed through that [:] button on the top-right on the home screen) has to be enabled for this to work. Usually it would transfer over...

Re: Bus Observations 2023
And looks like we’ve got an answer now for NextThere and AnyTrip if anyone wants to do a rego search for a bus; type it as ‘MO1234’ or ‘1234MO’ (I just tried it with 6870 which was on the 817 just a few minutes ago by searching ‘MO6870’ and it worked.)
