Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020

I know that most of Volvo 14xx buses have relocated down south to Bunbury as Bunbury is under SWan Transit. I know that there are a few NH buses (1155-57) in Busselton. I know to the point that these buses are 20 years old. 1157-58 buses have been withdrawn from Busselton services, though they were ...

Re: Television channel discussions

Channel 9’s Australian Open coverage Good 9 and 9GEM are both in HD People can catch up the matches on 9Now Misses Tony Jones—he is so opinionated and his interview on Naomi Osaka last year was cringeworthy. Tony Jones crass comments has made headlines across Australia. Jones isn’t liked on TV. Mola...

Re: Predictions for the 2020s

Here are my predictions in 2020s decade: Sport Big Bash League will decline in terms of crowd numbers and viewership figures. What will be the future for the BBL? Super Rugby will cease in 2025 due to dwindling crowd numbers Some NRL clubs will fold, merged or relocated due to financial viability. N...

Re: Transport In Review 2019

I know that this year we have seen newbies Volvo Buses join Transperth to revitalise the fleet. However some buses have already left transperth. This year, All o405nh CNGs have been retired From TP after gas tanks have hit its expiry date and are not renewed. Most CNGs have headed to the scrap heap....

Re: Television channel discussions

Today Tonight got the chop in Sydney, Melbourne And Brisbane in early 2014. However they still kept the Adelaide and Perth bulletins. This show is filled with lots of awful journalism with many controversies and other crap. I stopped watching TT years ago because of this crappy journalism. Adelaide ...

Re: Let's fix Channel Nine

Today show could be fixed by getting rid of Tony Jones. He is unwatchable when he is on TV for these reasons—too opinionated, spouts a lot of crass comments on TV and condescending. His interview towards Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka was cringeworthy and asked a lot of lewd questions on TV. Nao...

I recently hopped on TP0102 and noticed that there is a grey object there. I know it’s from an ex-CAT bus but what is this type of device?

Re: Let's fix Channel Nine

What annoys me on Channel 9 is having to put up with Eddie McGuire on TV. I cannot watch his show, Hot Seat anymore—his constant dribble from him was enough to turn my TV off. Hot Seat is unwatchable now—the same format over and over again. Some people have stopped watching his show because he kept ...

I have noticed a few of O405NH CNG Buses that are currently left in service. How many outdated O405NH CNG buses are remaining in Malaga and in Palmyra left in this fleet before withdrawal later in the year?

Re: Route idea - Black CAT. EQBS - Perth Busport

I have seen Transperth buses operating the Route 661 to The Matagarup bridge and noticed that Path, Transdev and Swan all operated the bus route. I know that the Perth Cat bus runs under Transdev as claisebrook. When the black cat bus was in operation, I’d say that this bus route will be run under T...

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions - 2018

I have a query. I have seen a few Mercedes Benz OC500LE CNG (Ex-CAT) and Diesel (ex-Transperth) as well as new Volvo Buses that do not contain rear windows. I was wondering why the back of the bus had no rear windows. 2. There are two transmission variants for the Mercedes OC500LE (TransRegional) - ...

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions - 2018

But with that said, a few B7s (the early 22xx and 23xx in particular) are in pretty terrible condition already so it wouldn't surprise me if they went in a little earlier, but probably not before 2020 since there are still ~250 OC500s left to go. I noticed that there were Mercedes Benz Oc500LE Dies...

If i were you I would Reroute Route 48 so that it goes via Bulwer St, and Lord St. Continue on normal route to Morley. Get rid of Route 66 and replace it with additional Route 950 peak hour services. Re-route the Route 160 via Hampton Rd, Lefroy Rd, Carrington St, Winterfold Rd, Collick St, left ont...

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions - 2018

I noticed that older O405NH diesel powered buses have left Transperth fleet. The thing about it was the Transregional buses remaning in the fleet (e.g. TP1155-65, 1166-68, 1173-77, 1203-09, 1231-33 (left TP in 2005), 1300-01,1356-62, 1500-09, 1573-90, 1770-71. Will these Regional buses be replaced w...

Re: Bus Routes - What would you do if you were in charge?

If I were you, I might think of the following A bus route that will link from Cannington Station to Garden City Bus Station via Curtin and Canning Bridge. 100/101 to be replaced by a High Frequency Route 915. Truncate the Route 114/115 at Garden City Station as There are too much buses that use the ...

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions - 2018

Yesterday, I noticed TP0107 (ex-CAT Bus) operating the 362F at the Perth Busport. I noticed that there were air vents being placed at the back of the OC500LE CNG bus. I believe that a few ex-CAT OC500LE buses have been retrofitted with the air vents at the back.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Television in general has turned into rubbish, MKR in particular. I never watched MKR because of these contestants arguing and picking on other people. The audience numbers will eventually drop every passing year or so due to people losing interest. During the summer, I have been inundated with rel...

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions - 2017

I have hopped on a O405NH Natural gas bus that ran on Transcom (Route 960) from Curtin Uni to the city. TP1772-1796 are allocated for Transcom gas while TP1797-1819 ran on Westport Gas system. The sound of the Transcom CNG was different compared to the Westport gassies. I thought that the Westport s...
