4 = 2x in service and 2x on charge as until on route charging facilities can be set up, range will be an issue for the 7900E's

Re: Interesting/Odd Buses

I can happily share some bits and pieces once I am home, later on.

Squiddy, I wouldn't count the ex BCT stuff as they are pretty standard Private Operator Spec buses of that era and weren't new to the PTA/DOT etc.., but can share if you wish?

Re: This month in Marmion...

1363 & 1364 spent some time at SR, as well as 1435-1439 getting moved around here and there, so that will explain them on 20x routes. 365's, 372's and 375's were generally done by the Marmion/Joondalup depots, but early in the peace,355's & 376-379 services were covered to some extent by Malaga. 370...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020

Same could be said about your car... When the fleet covers over 100 million km per year, occasionally s**t happens. And mechanical faults can arise with absolutely no prior or visible warnings. So, you know, pipe down until a thorough investigation has occurred. Cheers! Don’t really know what that ...

Good work, Jibb! Well done!

I'd be guessing that as soon as the borders open up, that 118R will probably be not too far behind. 089R is I believe at TSA Leichardt Depot at the moment, or somewhere within the NSW Borders.

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions

Bang on the money there with Malaga, "Merc1814" I believe that's also correct re Causeway Depot, as 008 was fitted with the CNG Booster in 1984 and then converted properly to CNG later on and of course the LPG Conversions on 270 and 271 were done early in the peace, along with the delivery of 007. R...

When you say Scrolling, do you mean as in the text moving across the screen on the LED's or like what the Dot Matrix displays do (scroll, pause, scroll, pause etc...)?

Re: Bus Routes - What would you do if you were in charge?

There is 910 to Canning Bridge where you can transfer to 114, 115 or 160. I'm pretty sure "Scania3000" is aware of those services, seeing as they have been the same for the last 20 years. Just a shame they got rid of the livery that went with the 940. I reckon it would have looked good on the OC's.

Re: This month in Marmion...

I've taken a 18xx OC on 870 before. 18xx OCs are all allocated to Morley package. Never saw any SR bus on 34 but used to see CV ones rather often. Back then Claremont and Belmont were one area, a remnant of the through routing era. It was only about 10 years ago that Belmont was merged with Kalamun...

Noted today by Renault1089 was 121A and 122A both out and about in the PM Peak.

I've noted also that 119R has not been seen recently... Has it and 118R been withdrawn, or are they still in service?

Re: This month in Marmion...

Karrinyup OC's did 354's and 870's, but not Malaga ones. Also Gosnells used to do some 34's. Another interesting one was that during summer, 102's used to run so late on a Sunday, that they ended up linking them up with the 30 and 31 services, to allow time to catch up. This meant that 13xx Shenton ...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020

100-103 are at WP covering for buses that are away for refurb. They should return to Malaga once this is over. My question re the WP and M swap, is why did they pick 1399-1413, when M supplied 2700 upwards? Would it not have made more sense to send 1419-1434 instead, if they didn't want to take 1363...

One of the other things that's always p***ed me off with the board, is that silly things like the debate of what the correct model designation for the Mercedes Benz Products introduced around 2003 was... I really didn't appreciate the admins changing the board settings to automatically change O(C)50...

I'm noticing among the enthusiast community, that the "old hands" have moved on from this forum, because the old steeds that interest us, are of little interest to the current generation of enthusiasts. It seems to all be, B7 this, and K310 that, and how many computers, screens and wifi does this bu...

Sorry folks, I was rushing when I posted that.

1362 is the last NH.

1850 was last one of the 1820-1853 batch delivered.

Correct, 1850 was the last NH to be delivered. If you are observant, you may have also noticed it has an extra grill on the left hand side! 1826 and 1829 have both been withdrawn already. It's incredible to see the "PATH Midi NH's" being withdrawn already. I remember when 1817, 1818 and 1819 were ne...

In that case, OTR, there's 3 there!

The new livery on the Bustech's actually looks really good IMO. Something refreshing from the YellowMet and RedMet liveries (which do actually look good, themselves). The bit of colour on the back is good too. It's refreshing, is probably the better way to put it.

Re: New buses for Territory Transit and Buslink

Are you sure that 121A and 122A are going?

I have a feeling that 088R will replace 118R, 089R will replace 119R and 090R may possibly see the end of 120R. 123R would move to Wagait Beach to replace 118R on the Mandorah School Run.
