And one can expect more overcrowding, especially on 'H30' services which are notorious for such during this period, to the extent where drivers request a double division at a moment's notice.
The department hasn't learned a thing unfortunately.

Obscure (in relation both previous posts starting with T. I know, I've made a couple of errors in this thread. But I am trying to remain conscious of any subsequent blunders).

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
I could swear I have heard of drivers getting done for doing 64kph in a 60 zone. This tolerance should be lowered to about 3kph over the limit, as it's too lax at the moment. Interesting link. But very disappointing. So it's essentially saying that you can knowingly do 63kph without any risk of bein...

Re: Custom Denning Discussion / Observations
Unlike that other alleged 'brand', there's little risk of one's head interacting with the panels at the top of the bus. I do my best not to sit at the back. But when the ride quality level gets well below zero, that's basically the only option I have to survive the ordeal. I'd appreciate if 'Custom'...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
Bus drivers that frequently ignore the speed limit on a particular road where the signs clearly say 50(kph)! Way too common, and I think the government would make a fair amount of cash from TT drivers alone if a nice little discrete one was installed in this section behind the trees, considering tha...

Re: Random Visual Memory.
I recall seeing what was possibly an ex STA AEC Swift motor home conversion sometime in about 1993-1994, that would sometimes turn up at a former residence of a family member.
It was unmistakable, and was always parked in the same spot.

Re: January 2021 timetable changes
There should be timetables for school holidays that are separate to normal school days. 10 minutes of laying over on one trip before the halfway point is not exactly encouraging to new patrons. But then, that's probably why the DIT doesn't adjust them in the first place! Some of the peak timetables ...

At the end of the day, regardless of my comments, I just want to travel on a bus that is not painfully uncomfortable, and has standard cosmetics. Is it too much to ask?

Re: Bustech Discussion / Observations
This is a body that's being shown on their webpage (see attached image). But I thought the glass windows would render the vehicle inoperable due to the excessive amount of weight. Hence the current design. If they just did away with windows completely, then they wouldn't have to endure this problem....

Re: What doesn't give you the S&#T's, or make you Happy?
I don't get it but when your driving on a single lane road doing the full speed limit (let's say it's 80 KMPH), what do people have too exactly gain from overtaking you? It's like being on a bus that is literally doing the speed limit, with a car in front doing exactly the same speed. You feel like...

Since when did anyone not reuse old fleet numbers? Generally that’s only done if there’s a fatality (eg 2724, now 2751)

From what I heard, the chassis is bent. It will be interesting to see what the investigation determines. I would suspect it's a write off, and that it will replaced by another of the aforementioned.

There’s no note in fledglings to any “version 2”, other than livery

They're identical to the older ones except for the livery, and the sometimes near deafeningly loud announcements. So I somehow doubt there's a version 2.
Even the ex city free CNG NL202s and the older ones have more differences than what these do.

'233' supposedly rear ended 257 today on Churchill Rd from what I heard. No idea if they're write-offs or not.
