Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2024

Megumi, the original announcement from the Qld Government was that they were exclusively for rail replacement. Can you quote any subsequent announcement which changes that?

Thats very good but suggest changing yellow routes to purple or something as the yellow blends too much into the road network.

Re: Bus Observations 2024.

No Bambam. The yard Linto is talking about is a new and separate yard down by the golf course where all the excess, but still TD owned, buses have been stored for some months. There was a suggestion they were being retained so TD could bid for Bankstown rail replacement. However given most of them ar...

Re: Hornibrook Buslines

No sighting of 309 and I dd go past after any school buses should have been home. There is a large shed at the back of the property but no evidence they were using it or of any office. Buses were just parked in the middle of a large yard with a container or two at one side presumably for storage and...

Eddy, I have stated before that trailerbus, parrahub and the maglev, as entertaining as they may be, all belong in the fantasy section and that remains my opinion.

If the owner is anything like the Chinese landlord for the place next door to me, who wont even give me his contact details for when our currently dodgy fence finally goes, the diversion might last quite some time.

They've been left in for suitcases etc when on gold coast rail as they were purchased primarily for rail not for school charters.

If you want to see record blowouts on projects, just come to Melbourne. The Westgate tunnel started at $500m and is now over $5.5B, the north east link has just gone up another $10B, blowouts on metro tunnel, every level crossing removal etc etc. And they've just signed a contract for Dan's (now Jac...
