Bustech seem to be pumping these new buses out quite quick, are they all locally built here or some just fitted out here.

Re: [Mar/Apr 2019] SA Transport observations

Noticed today some of the 3000/3100's spotted on the Belair line now have a yellow paint work edging around the passenger doors instead of blue ones, I assume yellow is a very recent modification.

Watching a Youtube clip of train 1DA2 taken on the 29th of last month ex Darwin Bus 117 (Volvo B10BLE?) was part of the train load, I assume another bus for TT.

Re: [Jan/Feb 2019] SA Transport observations

MFS paging shows that there was a bus fire on Currie St this afternoon, doesn't mention which one though. 99% certain it was an NL202 (sorry don't remember the fleet number) at least 2 or 3 fire extinguishers were used before the MFS arrived. Quite interesting to watch while waiting for a bus in Gr...

Wonder if they'll keep the same colour scheme. Photo taken at Belair, 23rd Feb 2011. From one of the linked web pages above: "The livery of the diesel engine that will leave Adelaide on December 6, 2019, pulling the first "Great Southern" train (with up to 218 passengers), might seem hi-vis yellow....

I wish Ad Met would say what the actual change is to the particular route timetable, instead of having to check if and how you are affected.

Re: BUS ROUTES TO BE SCRAPPED IN DRIVE FOR SAVINGS

Found a quirk in the link that worked. TAXPAYERS are paying at least $100 a passenger on about 10 South Australian bus services as the State Government prepares to cut its least patronised routes. Almost 100 services cost more than $50 a passenger to operate, with the Government only recouping 20-25...

From the DPTISA facebook page:

"TRAM DRIVER TRAINING

As the City Tram Extension Project is nearing completion, driver training will commence Monday, 16 July.

Some additional trams will be on the network between 9am-3pm and 7pm-12am.

These training trams will not be in passenger service."

Nice photos 'The Inspector'.

I wondered what buses AdMetro was referring to in their recent changes announcements (Introduction of 2 new low floor vehicles to the Gawler Dial-A-Ride service).

The Micro-hybrids sound interesting, maybe to replace the Rosa buses.
